Key points of hydrogenation reactor kettle operation

1、At the end of each reaction kettle operation, make the stirring switch and the speed control heating switch to zero first.

2、Before feeding, rinse the inner wall of autoclave, stirring shaft, stirring paddle, inner cooling coil, temperature measuring tube and sealing surface of kettle body and cover with distilled water, after rinsing the sealing surface, wipe it with cotton or silk cloth dipped in ethanol, then slowly close the upper cover to avoid bumping the sealing surface.

3. When putting on the screws, make sure to put them in the right place, and use a torque wrench to put them on the ground symmetrically in the shape of a cross to avoid uneven force. Screws should not be torqued into place at one time, should gradually increase the force symmetrically tightened.

4、After the screws are tightened, first use mechanical pump to pump vacuum, then repeatedly pass nitrogen gas two to four times to replace the air in the kettle, then pump vacuum, pass hydrogen gas to replace two to three times, turn on stirring, raise the temperature and operate normally.

5、After the reaction, stop stirring, empty the residual hydrogen in the kettle, then pass nitrogen gas, empty the kettle, unscrew the screws and take out the reaction material.

6、The hydrogenation kettle made of 304, 316L and titanium is not resistant to strong acid, and strong acids such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and nitric acid are prohibited in the reaction solution.

7、It is forbidden to operate near the hydrogenation kettle with sparks and to wear nail shoes.

8、If the hydrogenation kettle is not fully explosion-proof, it should be used in a separate fume hood or the laboratory must be well ventilated.
